2002 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE - LAST PRODUCTION

Part of our "Mission" is to continue to search for "pre-collectible's".Like the 1967 (Mid-Year) Chevrolet Corvette, this 2002 Vintage Eldorado is said to be..." The Best One They Ever Made" and driving it proves the point. Reason: It had returned to the larger platform, was tweaked by way more power, and by 2002, the Superior ("Standard of The World") Quality had returned to the showrooms of the Cadillac Motor Division.
This car was Custom Ordered in Sable Black w/ Black Leather / Red Piping and Black Soft Top. The "Hard Parade Boot" version, like this beauty, only saw 50 total built that year, as reported by Larry Moran, CBL's owner. This was not a backyard build by a cum-see, cum-saw Coach House but, a 1st cabin, $18,000-20,000 'RPO' option endorsed by Cadillac & the Cadillac Dealers (like the '84-'85 ASC Eldo's). Even better, it weighed in at 4200 lbs. (20 lbs. LESS than it's sister Coupe) and with the NorthStar V8 ran the 1/4 mile in 15.4 sec. The 2002 Eldorado's came pretty much 'loaded' but, the last ETC Collector Series was 'over-the-top' with yet even more options, including not only the 4.6 Liter / 32 valve , 300 hp NorthStar V8 and 4-Speed Overdrive Transmission but, also, Special, what we call, "Burble" Exhaust.

1936 Ford Deluxe Model 68 3-Window 'Retro Rod' Coupe
This 'Retro Version' was a three-year build and has been upgraded, not once but twice, FINE-TUNED to the owners spec's with the Best of the Best. It was a true Body-off Restoration with Full Body-dip and Rotisserie Restoration that cost $99,183.58 ( all actual receipts, not a handwritten legal pad version- in house). Finished in Mason's Black with Saddle Interior. It received a new Chevrolet Factory crate engine, 'built', balanced and blueprinted by the 'Engine Factory'. It is rated at 455h.p. due to the Roller Camshaft and other Performance Improvements. The 8" rear was installed and built by 'Jaws Gear & Axle' as a Detroit Tru-Track 3:55. The entire muffler system is Stainless Steel. Disappointed with the Taiwan/Chinese quality of original grilles offered, the Grille was custom fabricated by 'Starks Metal Art' ($3575), 'Bob Drake' supplied much of the chrome trim except the Garnish moldings by 'Doug Born'. This entire restoration was accomplished by Terry Pagage at 'T's Garage' and by Joe Mallazo / 'Auto Shoppe' in South Fla. Some of the work accomplished in an overview is: The 'Bilstein Shocks' have been upgraded by 'Racing Dynamics' and the Custom Stereo w/ 4 Boston Acoustic Speakers and 6-CD Changer was accomplished by 'World of Sound'. The Soft Touch Leather Upholstery / Headliner and Trunk (Full Custom) was done by 'Vantasma' in Palm Beach. The Bumpers, Brackets and Gas Tank are all Stainless Steel. 'Ron Frances' did the Deluxe Wire kit, 'Vintage A.C.' built the Air Conditioning System, the dash is complimented by a 'La Carrera' Steering Wheel and 'Ididit' Steering Column and Column Drop. This build carries Adjustable Lower Blocks, 'Specialty Wiper System' and a Custom Made Stone deflector. Headers are by 'Hi-Temp', Alternator Chrome 105AMD and the AC Compressor is a Chrome Upgrade with Hidden-Firewall Mount, chrome shield framed. The Windows 'look' to be original crank-style but, they are Power, the Heated-Porsche-Style seats have Auto. Lumbar Controls, MSD built the Electronic Ignition while 'HotTronics supplied all switches. This car carries 11" front Rotor's and Disc brakes, 'Accel' Plug Wires w/ Platinum Spark Plugs. All the AC Vents are Polished Aluminum while the clock was replaced with an Extra vent to keeps things cool here in sultry FL. The Body was dipped and stripped at great expenses and finished in Base Coat/ Clear Coat. There's really too much to list as this car was continually improved and updated to have it drive 'new'. This knock-out beauty was discovered after completion of a recent restoration in Michigan. Though the car is originally from Florida it was purchased and sent to Michigan for restoration. We're slightly prejudiced: we think the Coupe is better looking than the Convertible ! This is a Coupe DeVille Model 59-63 which Cadillac only produced 21,924 in 1959 and this one is seen in it's original color's of "Woodrose Metallic"- (sometimes confused with "Persian Sand"... an Eldorado color)... it is further complimented by a "Dover White" Hardtop and 2-Tone Rose Brocade & Leather interior. It has undergone a frame-up restoration by a Midwest Restoration Shop that tout's itself to have produced vehicles that achieved several top-bid's at Barratt-Jackson. This Corvette model is considered by most to be the 'Holy Grail" for collectability. The only problem is.... finding one that's "real". Like the Split Window "Fuelies" from 1963, more of these have surfaced since the televised Auctions.... then were made new. This car has a documented history back to owner #2 and carries maintenance and repair receipts for the period of their ownership. All the numbers match (verify with 3rd source if you like: see Eismann Corvette Repair & Restoration - Jupiter, FL). It retains many all original features so, it's what we would call..."a survivor". 1969 FORD MUSTANG SPORTSROOF "R" CODE 428 SCJ
In 1969, the Fastest-Car-Out-Of-The-Box available at your local dealer would be the Ford SCJ Mustang. You could choose from a lengthy list of Performance options and Models for your "New Mustang: but, the Top of The Heap would have to be the "R Code" 428 Super Cobra Jet . To help put things in prospective: FoMoCo built 299,824 Mustangs in 1969 (starting production in Sept. 1968) with 61,980 built as "63A" designated "Fastback Models". Out of those, only 5,192 received the Factory Heavy Duty Suspension, Beefed-Up Rear Axle & Con Rods, External Side Oil Cooler and Trunk Mounted Battery. But, only 1,026 were equipped as Super Cobra Jet "R" Model Ram Air ("W" Code) which carried the 428/360 h.p.V8 & the 4:30:01 Posi. 'Traction Lok' Rear. And, according to the coveted 428SCJ Registry only 146 are registered with the Engine/ Rear-End Combination !! They were equipped with a Flat Black Shaker Hood Scoop and carried Nascar-Style Hood Pins, and Pop-Up Gas Cap. Our car is RARE for what IT ISN'T !!! . the most difficult and rewarding to find. This car stands out as The
Best One we have ever found & purchased. It was Custom Made for
a wealthy 'Sprits' Manufacturer in the Palm Beaches. It is an original real
(all) Steel Frame and Body 1936 Ford in the seldom seen 3-Window version instead
of the 5-Window.

with Seventy-Five Years under the belt- there aren't many left! . The Deluxe
Model originally featured the Chrome Brightwork around the headlights, Grille,
Windshield, Horn Grilles and Tail-Lights. They also originally featured received
: Dual 'toothpick' Wipers, Wheel Trim Rings, Clock and a Rearview Mirror....
giving "loaded" new meaning.
This 'Retro Version' was a three-year build and has been upgraded, not once but twice, FINE-TUNED to the owners spec's with the Best of the Best. It was a true Body-off Restoration with Full Body-dip and Rotisserie Restoration that cost $99,183.58 ( all actual receipts, not a handwritten legal pad version- in house). Finished in Mason's Black with Saddle Interior. It received a new Chevrolet Factory crate engine, 'built', balanced and blueprinted by the 'Engine Factory'. It is rated at 455h.p. due to the Roller Camshaft and other Performance Improvements. The 8" rear was installed and built by 'Jaws Gear & Axle' as a Detroit Tru-Track 3:55. The entire muffler system is Stainless Steel. Disappointed with the Taiwan/Chinese quality of original grilles offered, the Grille was custom fabricated by 'Starks Metal Art' ($3575), 'Bob Drake' supplied much of the chrome trim except the Garnish moldings by 'Doug Born'. This entire restoration was accomplished by Terry Pagage at 'T's Garage' and by Joe Mallazo / 'Auto Shoppe' in South Fla. Some of the work accomplished in an overview is: The 'Bilstein Shocks' have been upgraded by 'Racing Dynamics' and the Custom Stereo w/ 4 Boston Acoustic Speakers and 6-CD Changer was accomplished by 'World of Sound'. The Soft Touch Leather Upholstery / Headliner and Trunk (Full Custom) was done by 'Vantasma' in Palm Beach. The Bumpers, Brackets and Gas Tank are all Stainless Steel. 'Ron Frances' did the Deluxe Wire kit, 'Vintage A.C.' built the Air Conditioning System, the dash is complimented by a 'La Carrera' Steering Wheel and 'Ididit' Steering Column and Column Drop. This build carries Adjustable Lower Blocks, 'Specialty Wiper System' and a Custom Made Stone deflector. Headers are by 'Hi-Temp', Alternator Chrome 105AMD and the AC Compressor is a Chrome Upgrade with Hidden-Firewall Mount, chrome shield framed. The Windows 'look' to be original crank-style but, they are Power, the Heated-Porsche-Style seats have Auto. Lumbar Controls, MSD built the Electronic Ignition while 'HotTronics supplied all switches. This car carries 11" front Rotor's and Disc brakes, 'Accel' Plug Wires w/ Platinum Spark Plugs. All the AC Vents are Polished Aluminum while the clock was replaced with an Extra vent to keeps things cool here in sultry FL. The Body was dipped and stripped at great expenses and finished in Base Coat/ Clear Coat. There's really too much to list as this car was continually improved and updated to have it drive 'new'. If you're looking to side-step the hideous back-breaking restoration process and go directly to the finish-line a Winner- you just found the way
